ABOUT
Jeremy Luke Bolatag is a Filipino filmmaker based in Belgium. Challenging the boundaries between documentary and fiction, Jeremy's works explore themes on identity, diaspora, and social issues, diving deep in marginalized and underrepresented communities. Jeremy earned his bachelor's degree in Film at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2018 and has worked in various roles in the film industry back home. His short films have screened and competed in numerous film festivals.
With a full scholarship, Jeremy completed his two-year master's degree in Documentary Film Directing in 2023 (DocNomads) at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, where he finished as Magna Cum Laude . His first feature-length documentary film in development, Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned, has been awarded script and development funding from the Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds in 2024 and 2025 respectively, as well as the CreatePH 2025 development grant from the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
Jeremy is a Taurus, which is also very important.
